A COMMON DEFICIENCY
Many people do not eat enough magnesium rich foods and/ or live with stress levels that are depleting this important mineral. Magnesium is involved with more than 300 body processes. Studies show that consistently low levels of magnesium will create changes in these biochemical processes that can increase the risk of illness over time. These disorders can include: hypertension and cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, osteoporosis, and migraine headaches.
RISKS FOR DEFICIENCY
Certain health conditions may increase your risk of running low in magnesium. Those with the most risk are people with GI illness, like Crohn’s disease, that affects nutrient absorption, including Crohn’s disease, those with type 2 diabetes, suffer from alcoholism; and those of advancing age.
LOW MAGNESIUM AND STRESS
Low magnesium levels has been associated with stressful conditions such as photosensitive headache, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, audiogenic stress, cold stress, and physical stress, amongst others according to NIH. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK507250/#_ch19_Stress_and_the_brain_
BENEFITS OF MAGNESIUM
Magnesium is involved with regulating muscle and nerve function, blood sugar levels, and blood pressure and making protein, bone, and DNA. It is thus effective for use with insomnia and promoting sound sleep, high blood pressure, and restless leg syndrome. A study by the University of Hertfordshire has revealed that a magnesium cream could be used as an alternative to tablets to combat major health problems including high blood pressure which are linked with deficiency.
The use of this cream is best combined with oral supplementation, healthy eating habits, proper exercise, and adequate sleeping.
Pure Magnesium Chloride from Ancient Zechstein Seabed, Distilled water, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, butyrospermum parkii (Shea Butter), locally sourced beeswax.
USE: Rub the cream into your skin liberally, avoiding broken skin. Can apply to the legs/feet, inner forearm. Allow 10 minutes for the cream to be fully absorbed. If one is deficient, he/she may experience a tingling, burning sensation.
